Artwork Tips for Spot UV Business Cards
To ensure the best possible results, we advise you to follow our handy artwork tips:
- Make sure the file is set up in the CMYK colour
- Save all artwork as 300dpi
- Artwork must include a 3mm bleed to ensure all imagery remains inside the lines
- Avoid adding any logos or text within 3 mm of the artwork boundary
- All fonts need to be converted to outlines

Ordering Spot UV Business Cards from us has never been easier and can be completed in 4 simple steps.
Choose Quantity, Printed Sides and Stock
Our prices are clearly displayed with no hidden costs so you can simply choose the quantity you require, select the number of sides you’d like printed and whether you would like a Matt 420GSM or Velvet 450GSM stock.
Upload Your Artwork
You will then have the opportunity to upload your artwork files. We accept many file types including PDF, PSD, JPG and more, please refer to the artwork guidelines tab for further information on how to set up your artwork file for the best results.
Complete Your Print Order Online
Complete the steps through the online checkout process and specify where you would like your order delivered. We offer free standard delivery Australia-wide and also have an express shipping option which you can select at checkout if you need your order faster.
Approve Your Artwork Proof
Upon receiving your order, our design team will review your artwork file and create a digital proof. This will be sent to you to review and approve within 4 hours of receiving your order (during business hours). Once you have approved your artwork proof, we will schedule your print job for the next available production run.
FAQs
How thick are spot UV business cards?
Our Spot UV cards are available in two thicknesses and paper styles; 420GSM Matt or 450GSM Velvet finish, both of which are priced the same. Both of these offer a matte or silky finish which contrasts with the glossy Spot UV for an amazing end result!
What size options are available for spot UV business cards?
There are three preset sizes to choose from; 90x55mm, 90x45mm, and 86x54mm. You can also create a custom size business card provided it isn’t over 90x55mm.
Do spot UV business cards have the option to print on both sides?
Yes, they do! We offer offset printing on either one or two sides of our Spot UV cards. The UV finish is available on one side only to avoid distraction from your important contact info on the back!
How much do spot UV business cards cost?
Our Spot UV business cards start at $124+GST for 250 cards. This price per card will vary depending on the quantity ordered, however, there is no price difference between the two card stocks!

After requesting business card samples through the Spaceprint website, Cheval followed up with an email letting me know they would arrive in the mail within a few days and if I required help ordering, to contact him. During the ordering process, I wanted to see proofs before paying, so I clicked pay later by invoice. Cheval sent a proof by email before printing and back and forth a few times until I was happy with the final product. Business cards arrived and the delivered package from Spaceprint was professionally packed and cards as expected, so I will use this service again! Thanks guys!
