Everyone knows that A4 is the most popular paper size. It’s used commonly for all kinds of content, material, and reasons. However, A4 doesn’t work for everything – especially for more professional-looking content that is being used for a specific reason, like an event invitation or a flyer.

While A4 paper size may be good for business letterheads, if you received an advertising flyer in your inbox printed on standard A4 paper, you might think it looks amateur. This is where different paper sizes and formats come into play.

For example, professional flyers generally use A6 paper size. This size is equivalent to a quarter of an A4, making it easier and cheaper to mail out and more convenient for recipients to keep.

The term ISO standard describes the international standard of paper size used in most metric-system countries.
