Not every display needs a cassette base. X-frame banners from Space Print are the simplest standing display we sell: a 600 x 1600mm full colour print on 440gsm polyester, tensioned by its corner eyelets onto a lightweight X-shaped frame. The frame folds flat, the print rolls up, and the whole kit travels in the included carry bag.
It is the entry point of our banner range, from $145 ex GST, and the lightest thing in it. If your display gets carried to markets, classes or club events every weekend, this is the one that does not feel like a chore to bring.
The graphic swaps in seconds
This is the X-frame’s party trick. The print simply unclips from the four arms of the frame, and a new one clips on in seconds, no tools. Order one frame kit now, then swap graphics for each campaign, season or event. Replacement prints for a frame you already own cost less than a whole new display, ask us through our contact page.

X-frame or pull up banner?
A pull up banner has a weighted cassette base and a bigger 850mm to 2400mm print, and it reads more corporate. The X-frame is smaller at 600 x 1600mm, lighter, cheaper, and its swappable graphic makes it the better tool when the message changes often. Plenty of businesses run both: pull up banners for the front of house, X-frames for whatever this month’s promotion is.

Artwork Guidelines for X-Frame Banners
Design for a tall, narrow canvas. The print is 600mm wide by 1600mm tall, a slimmer, shorter format than a pull up banner, so stack your content vertically: logo, message, call to action.
- Supply a print-ready PDF in CMYK at final size, 600 x 1600mm. We convert anything in RGB, which can shift colour.
- The corners are tensioned by eyelets onto the frame, so keep logos and text away from the corners and edges.
- A template with the eyelet positions marked is available. Ask for yours through our contact page before you design.
- Big type and strong contrast win. The banner is often read from across a stall or shop floor.
- If you plan to swap graphics on one frame, keep a consistent layout between designs so the display always looks intentional.
- Not sure your file is right? Send it through anyway. We check every file before it goes near a press and come back to you if something needs fixing.

What is an X-frame banner?

How does the graphic swap work?
The print has an eyelet in each corner that hooks onto the four arms of the X frame. Unhook the old print, hook on the new one, done in seconds with no tools. You can order replacement prints for a frame you already own, just contact us.
Is the frame included?
Yes. Every X-frame banner includes the print, the X frame and a carry bag. The price on this page is the complete standing display, not just the print.
Can it be used outdoors?
It suits sheltered outdoor spots like a stall or under an awning, but like any lightweight display it does not love wind. For an all-day outdoor position, put it against a wall or somewhere protected, and bring it in when the weather turns.
How fast can I get it?
X-frame banners are dispatched approximately 2 working days after artwork approval and payment. We confirm the dispatch date when you order. Delivery time after dispatch depends on the courier and your location.
Is it hard to set up?
No. Unfold the X frame, hook the four corners of the print onto the arms, and it is standing. Under a minute, no tools, and it packs flat into the carry bag.
