How it works
- The holder arrives die-cut and creased, with built-in slits to hold a standard 90 × 55mm card (the same size as a business card).
- Print the outside only (single sided) or inside and out (double sided) so your message greets the customer as they open it.
- Slip in your gift or voucher card — we can print matching cards too, just ask for a quote.

Artwork Guidelines
Artwork Guidelines for Gift Card Holders
- Use our die template. Gift card holders are die-cut to a fixed shape (Forme 19). Download the template and design within the marked panels and fold lines — we’ll send it with your first proof if you don’t have it.
- Keep the slits clear. Leave the die-cut slits that hold the card free of important text and logos.
- Mind the creases. Keep key elements at least 5mm away from fold and cut lines.
- Bleed: add 3mm bleed on all sides.
- Safe area: keep text and logos 4mm inside the trim and away from die lines.
- Resolution: 300dpi at final size.
- Colour: supply in CMYK. RGB and Pantone files are converted to CMYK and may shift slightly.
- Format: print-ready PDF preferred (fonts embedded or outlined). We also accept high-res JPG, PNG and TIFF.
- Single vs double sided: for double sided, clearly label the outside and inside artwork.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size card does the holder fit?
A standard 90 × 55mm card — the same size as a business card, which covers most gift, voucher, membership and loyalty cards. If your card is a different size, request a custom quote and we’ll check the die.
Do you print the gift card as well?
We can. The holder and the card are two separate items — tell us you need matching cards and we’ll include them in your quote. Many customers pair these holders with our printed cards.
What is the minimum order?
100 holders. Quantities available are 100, 200, 250, 500, 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, 2,500 and 5,000. For larger runs request a custom quote.
What’s the difference between single and double sided?
Single sided prints the outside of the holder only. Double sided prints the inside as well, so your message or branding greets the customer as they open it.
Which laminate should I choose?
Matt is soft and contemporary and resists fingerprints, gloss makes colours vivid and high-shine, and velvet (soft-touch) gives the most premium, tactile feel. All three protect the board and add durability.
How many proofs do I get?
2 free proofs per artwork. Additional proofs are $25 + GST each. Production starts once you approve your proof and payment is received.

- Delivery times are courier dependent and cannot be guaranteed.
- A $13 admin charge applies to non-store delivery addresses.
