Artwork Tips for Premium Gloss Business Cards
- Save your file at 300 DPI
- Make sure the artwork is set to CMYK colour mode for accurate colour reproduction
- Ensure every font is converted to an outline to prevent it defaulting to a standard font
- Bleed any images 3 mm past the trim line
- Set any logos or text at least 3 mm from the border to prevent cut-off

Upload Your Artwork
You will then have the opportunity to upload your artwork files. We accept many file types including PDF, PSD, JPG and more, please refer to the artwork guidelines tab for further information on how to set up your artwork file for best results.
Complete Your Print Order Online
Complete the steps through the online checkout process and specify where you would like your order delivered to. We offer free standard delivery Australia wide and also have an express shipping option which you can select at checkout if you need your order faster.
Approve Your Artwork Proof
Upon receiving your order, our design team will review your artwork file and create a digital proof. This will be sent to you to review and approve within 4 hours of receiving your order (during business hours). Once you have approved your artwork proof, we will schedule your print job on the next available production run.

How thick are gloss business cards?
Our gloss business cards are an impressive 420 GSM. This level of thickness makes them sturdier than the average business card and lends them a truly premium quality. The addition of a gloss laminate to the thick stock ensures they are long-lasting and design-forward.
What size options are available for gloss business cards?
When choosing sizes for our gloss business cards, we stock a range of sizes. Our standard dimensions are 90x55mm, 90x45mm, and 86x84mm. However, if you’re looking for a more unique option you can always opt for a custom size. These have a maximum size of 90x55mm. Be sure to input these dimensions in the ‘notes about your order’ box at checkout.
Do gloss business cards have an option to print on both sides?
Yes! We give you the choice to print on either one or two sides of our gloss business cards. Printing on two sides allows you to communicate your brand personality with artwork on the front, and include any important contact details on the back.
If you only want to print on one side, that’s fair enough. Simply select this option from the drop-down box on the product page.
How much do gloss business cards cost?
The cost of our gloss cards depends on the amount ordered. The lowest number of cards you can order is 250, which will cost $96+GST. The price per card goes down the more you order, so if you want the best value for money order in bulk.

After requesting business card samples through the Spaceprint website, Cheval followed up with an email letting me know they would arrive in the mail within a few days and if I required help ordering, to contact him. During the ordering process, I wanted to see proofs before paying, so I clicked pay later by invoice. Cheval sent a proof by email before printing and back and forth a few times until I was happy with the final product. Details below on what we require to get you the best results!
- Ensure the file is setup in CMYK colour mode
- Save as 300dpi
- Include 3mm bleed – For more information on artwork bleed click here.
- For best results do not place any text or logos within 3mm of the edge of the artwork.
- Convert all fonts to outlines
