Artwork Guidelines

To ensure the best print result, please supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF, AI, EPS, or PSD file in CMYK colour mode at 300dpi resolution. Include 2mm bleed on all sides and keep important text and elements at least 2mm inside the trim line.

Delivery & Turnaround

Production takes 6 working days to dispatch after artwork approval and payment. Delivery is included Australia-wide (excluding Tasmania, Western Australia, and Northern Territory — please contact us for a delivery quote to these areas).

Every order includes 2 free digital proofs so you can review your labels before we print. Additional proofs are $25 + GST each. Delivery times are courier-dependent and cannot be guaranteed, but most metro deliveries arrive within 1–3 business days after dispatch.

Follow these guidelines for the best results:

Set up your file in CMYK colour mode
Save at 300dpi resolution
Include 2mm bleed on all sides
Keep text and logos 3mm from the trim edge
Convert all fonts to outlines
Save as PDF, AI, EPS, or PSD

What file format do you need for artwork?

We accept PDF, AI, EPS, and PSD files. Artwork should be set up in CMYK colour mode at 300dpi with 2mm bleed on all sides. If you are unsure about your file, upload it with your order and we will check it during the proof stage.

How long does production take?

Production takes 6 working days to dispatch after your artwork has been approved and payment received. Delivery times are in addition to production and depend on your location.

Can I get a proof before printing?

Yes. Every order includes 2 free digital proofs so you can check your label design before we go to print. Additional proofs beyond the first two are $25 + GST each.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order is 500 labels. Labels are supplied on rolls of 500 on 76mm cores. For quantities of 1,000 or more, you will receive multiple rolls.

Are custom sizes available?

Yes. If you need a size that is not listed on our website, please contact us with your requirements and we will provide a custom quote.

Are paper labels waterproof?

Paper labels are not waterproof or water-resistant. If your product will be exposed to moisture, condensation, or refrigeration, we recommend our Waterproof Labels range, which is printed on durable polypropylene film.

What surfaces do paper labels stick to?

Our paper labels use a rubber-based hot melt permanent adhesive that bonds strongly to cardboard, paper, glass, plastic, and most smooth surfaces. For textured or low-energy surfaces, please contact us for advice.
