Round cards are wonderfully versatile. Artwork Guidelines
Artwork Guidelines for Die-Cut Circle Cards
- Finished size: set your document up at the circle diameter you have ordered (55, 100, 150 or 200mm), on a square page.
- Bleed: add 3mm bleed all the way around the circle so the print runs right to the cut edge.
- Safe area: keep all text and logos at least 4mm inside the cut line, as die-cutting has a small tolerance.
- Cut line: you do not need to draw the circle. Just supply your artwork on a square artboard at the ordered size plus bleed, and we position the die-cut centred.
- Resolution: supply images at 300dpi at final size for a crisp result.
- Colour: build artwork in CMYK. We convert all files to CMYK for print, so RGB colours may shift.
- File format: press-ready PDF preferred (fonts outlined or embedded). We also accept high-resolution JPEG, PNG or TIFF.
A note on solid black and dark colours
Matt lamination softens ink colour. Large areas of solid black and very dark colours such as navy, deep green and burgundy print softer and lighter than they appear on screen – solid black comes out as a deep charcoal rather than a jet black. This is a characteristic of the matt laminate finish and it cannot be shown on a screen proof. If a true jet black or a deep, saturated dark colour is essential to your branding, contact us before ordering and we will help you choose the right finish.

Can I get a hole punched for string?
Hole drilling for swing tags can be arranged as a custom job. Contact us with your requirements and we will quote it.
How many proofs do I get?
2 free proofs per artwork. We send a digital proof before anything goes to print, so you approve exactly what you will receive. Additional proofs are $25 + GST each.

- Turnaround: printed and dispatched in approximately 4 to 6 working days after proof approval and payment. Die-cutting can add a little to standard turnaround.

- A $13 admin charge applies to non-store delivery addresses.
