Presentation Folders – Velvet

Highest quality full-colour printing (digital or offset depending on the quantity) on heavy 350gsm stock finished with a luxurious velvet laminate to add extra durability and overall style.

Our folders feature:

Internal pocket for document storage and a business card holder
Available in print on the inside and outside or just the outside
Velvet laminate on the inside and outside or just outside
Full-colour CMYK printing.

We have a large range of templates available that you can download for free so you can design your own presentation folders. These range from no gusset to a large 10mm gusset.

When supplying your presentation folder artwork please be sure to follow:

Set up your artwork on a different layer to the template guidelines
All fonts converted to outlines
CMYK colour format
Embed all images and graphics
Extend all elements that touch the edge of the template 3mm past (not the edge of the entire file, just the magenta guidelines)
Export your file as PDF

Turnaround time is 4-5 business days from when the artwork proof is approved and payment is received.

Artwork Guidelines

Creating your own artwork or is your designer asking for how to supply the files?

Details below on what we require to get you the best results!

Ensure the file is setup in CMYK colour mode
Save as 300dpi
Include 3mm bleed – For more information on artwork bleed click here.
For best results do not place any text or logos within 3mm of the edge of the artwork.
Convert all fonts to outlines
Embed all images

A note on solid black and dark colours

Velvet (soft-touch) lamination softens ink colour. Large areas of solid black and very dark colours such as navy, deep green and burgundy print softer and more muted than they appear on screen – solid black comes out as a deep charcoal rather than a jet black. This is a characteristic of the velvet laminate finish and it cannot be shown on a screen proof. If a true jet black or a deep, saturated dark colour is essential to your branding, contact us before ordering and we will help you choose the right finish.

What are Velvet Presentation Folders?

Velvet Presentation Folders are premium folders printed on thick 350GSM stock with a luxurious velvet laminate, offering a soft-touch finish and extra durability.

Can I print on both sides of the folder?

Yes, you can choose to print on both the inside and outside or just the outside, depending on your design needs.

What gusset sizes are available for Velvet Presentation Folders?

The folders are available with no gusset or with gussets up to 10mm, allowing for more document capacity.

Are templates available for designing the folders?

Yes, free templates in various gusset sizes are available to help you design your folders.

Can I upload my own artwork?

Yes. You can upload your file with your order. If you are not 100% it is correct there is no need to worry. Our artwork team will review your file and send you a digital artwork proof for you to approve prior to them being sent to production.

If there are any issues with your files we will let you know and if it is a simple fix we will do it for you. If there are issues with missing fonts/images or other items that we can not do on our side we will let you know and provide guidance on what to do.

Do you offer artwork creation services?

Our artwork team can complete simple logo and text placement and update the folder colour for $50+GST.

If you require a more complex design we have a range of graphic designers for different budgets that we can refer you to that can create your artwork design for you.

How many colours can I include in my presentation folder artwork?

Our pricing is for full-colour printing so you can include as many as you require. Note that the price does not change for single-colour printing. As the printing is done offset/digital the process is the same regardless of the number of colours.

How long will the folders take to arrive?

Our standard turnaround time is 4-5 business days. This can vary however depending on where they are being sent to.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to get a faster turnaround than this and we also cannot guarantee a specific delivery date as this is reliant on couriers completing the delivery on schedule and not within our control.

The 4-5 business day turnaround starts from when your artwork proof is approved and payment has been received. If this occurs after 10 am AEST this will start the following day.

Can I see some samples before I do a big print run?

We can do a hard copy printed proof for an additional $50+GST. This is required to be ordered with the full run and cannot be ordered on its own.

Absolutely amazing print quality! I'm the fussiest client on the planet and my business cards had to be EXACTLY right. Believe me, I've spent a LOT of money on different printers (and been horribly disappointed), but SpacePrint absolutely NAILED IT. Marie's advice, patience and prompt communication are five star. No question was considered too trivial. I ordered the 450gsm premium velvet with spot varnish. The spot varnish was applied just over the black areas of the card front. It looks incredible, really adding a touch of luxe without the luxe price tag! Printing is clear, sharp, and trimmed beautifully. I couldn't be happier. The search for the perfect printer is over. Ordered some printing specifically for an event. It was well within their turn around time. I let them know. There were issues with their software system, then there were issues with the courier apparently. Long story short I turned up to my presentation without the printing. We chose these guys over the bigger companies because they are a small business and local. But its really not worth it. The quality of the printing is great, but if you want something in a timely manner with reasonable customer service....avoid.
