Artwork Guidelines
Artwork Guidelines for Folded Cards
- Supply flat artwork at the unfolded size — A6 Folded = set up as A5 (148 × 210mm); A5 Folded = set up as A4 (210 × 297mm).
- Mind the fold line. The score runs across the centre. Keep important text and logos at least 5mm clear of the fold.
- Bleed: add 3mm bleed on all sides.
- Safe area: keep text and key elements 4mm inside the trim.
- Resolution: 300dpi at final size.
- Colour: supply in CMYK. RGB and Pantone files are converted to CMYK and may shift slightly.
- Format: print-ready PDF preferred (fonts embedded or outlined). We also accept high-res JPG, PNG and TIFF.
- Front and inside: supply as a single spread or clearly labelled pages so we know which panel is the cover.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do the cards arrive folded?
No — they are professionally scored and delivered flat. You fold along the score line, which gives a clean, crack-free fold. This is the standard for heavyweight 350gsm cards.
What is the minimum order?
250 cards. Quantities available are 250, 500, 1,000, 2,000 and 5,000. For larger runs or a size not listed, request a custom quote.
Can I write inside the card?
Yes. The recycled uncoated stock and the inside of the laminated options are uncoated and easy to write on. Gloss coated board can be written on with most pens but is less absorbent.
What’s the difference between coated and laminated?
Gloss coated is printed straight onto smooth coated board. Laminated options add a gloss or matt film to the outside for extra durability and a premium feel, while keeping the inside writable.
Can I get envelopes too?
Yes, we can supply matching envelopes on request. Add a note to your order or request a custom quote and we’ll include pricing.
How many proofs do I get?
2 free proofs per artwork. Additional proofs are $25 + GST each. Production starts once you approve your proof and payment is received.
