Textured Felt Square Labels, the Premium Craft Look

Textured felt square labels give jars, tins, boxes and bottles the tactile, boutique feel of a hand-finished product. The bright white face carries a genuine embossed felt texture, the same stock used on premium wine and craft spirit labels, printed in full colour and protected with a soft matt varnish.

The stock is manufactured with wet-strength properties for moist environments like fridges and ice buckets, and its aggressive acrylic adhesive bonds firmly to glass, metal and coated packaging. It also contains 30% post-consumer recycled content for eco-conscious brands.

Artwork Guidelines

Artwork Guidelines for Textured Felt Labels

Size: set up your artwork at the ordered label size plus bleed.
Bleed: add 2mm bleed beyond the cut edge so the print runs right to the edge.
Safe area: keep text and logos at least 3mm inside the cut edge.
Colour on texture: the felt texture softens large flat areas of ink slightly, which is part of the premium look. Fine text below 6pt is best avoided.
Files: PDF, AI or EPS with fonts outlined, CMYK, 300dpi. Upload with your order and we check it at the proof stage.

A note on solid black and dark colours

These labels are finished with a soft matt varnish, which softens ink colour: large areas of solid black and very dark colours such as navy, deep green and burgundy print softer and more muted than they appear on screen, and this cannot be shown on a screen proof. If a true jet black or a deep, saturated dark colour is essential to your design, contact us before ordering and we will help you choose the right label.

What is textured felt stock?

Will these labels survive an ice bucket?

Yes. The stock is manufactured with wet-strength properties for moist environments and the adhesive is an aggressive acrylic that bonds firmly to glass. Prolonged submersion will eventually affect any paper label, but they are made for exactly this use.

Are they eco-friendly?

The face stock contains 30% post-consumer recycled content, making it a good choice for brands with sustainability commitments.

Are the labels supplied on a roll or a sheet?

On rolls of 500 labels on 76mm diameter cores, ready for hand application or machine application.

Can I get other shapes?

Do you offer proofs?

Yes, every order includes 2 free proofs. We convert your files to CMYK and nothing prints until you approve the proof.
