Letterpress is the original craft of printing: your design is pressed physically into thick cotton paper, leaving a crisp inked impression you can run a finger over. No coating, no gloss, just ink, pressure and beautiful stock. It is the card people hold onto.

Made properly, which takes time

Every letterpress order is set up and pressed as its own job. Production takes 10-13 business days from artwork approval, plus express delivery. These are not cards for tomorrow – they are cards for the next five years of first impressions. If your timeline is tight, our Premium and Scodix ranges dispatch much faster.

Stock and colour

Printed on Wild Cotton White 450gsm, a heavyweight cotton stock with a soft, natural texture. One ink colour pressed on the front with a blank back is the classic spec. We can match a specific Pantone Uncoated colour – note the final appearance varies slightly with the paper texture. Want a coloured or heavier stock, two-sided press, or a different combination? Artwork for letterpress

Letterpress needs vector artwork: an outlined-font vector PDF with 3mm bleed. Fine lines and small type press beautifully, but hairlines under 0.25pt and large solid ink areas can be unpredictable – we check every file and send a PDF proof (with two free amendment rounds) before anything is pressed.
